My main interests in ViEW

• Active / passive variation in academic World Englishes (with Marianne Hundt and Gerold Schneider)
• Interdisciplinary variation in authorial presence in academic ENL varieties of English (Great Britain, the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland) through the use of self-reference (with Marianne Hundt)
• Variation in the expression of the perfect in individual varieties of English (with Cristina-Suárez-Gómez)
• Transnational analysis of the expression of the perfect in World Englishes (with Cristina-Suárez-Gómez)
• Clausal complementation in World Englishes (with Cristina Suárez-Gómez)
• Compilation of ICE Gibraltar (ICE-GBR). Within this project, we have already compiled the written component and we are currently working on the compilation of the spoken component (with Lucía Loureiro-Porto, Cristina Suárez-Gómez and Heidi Douglas).
